The fine crafts, Laboratory Dr. Džanić Was founded in 1992. by professor Dr. Husein Džanić who has defined the development of the lab, with his work on intimate hygiene he started the production of remedies for initmate hygiene "Hygieia". After he passed away in 1994, his work was continued by the sons Emir Džanić biochemist and Emin Džanic dr.med. In 1995 Emir Džanić developed the products "Zincia" and "Velvet" and in 1998 "Ansoo" which with "Intima" makes the brand HYGIEIA.
This brand was set during the '90 on the local croatian and foreign markets.
In 2003. there is a big redisign of the packages resulting in today's attractive look of the Hygieia collection.
In 2004. a new collection of products "Mirisija" was launched and includes soap bars, shampoos, shower gels, bathing oils and salts, based entirely on the plants of the Adriatic.
Today the firm with five employees is situated in Đurđevačka 26 with its production plant guided by the biochemist Emir Džanić.
In 2005. they opened the first shop in the Dubrava Avenue 7 where all the products of the Laboratory Dr.Džanić could be found, some of the products could be found in the pharmacies and in other shops.
Significant results in the region are made by this small family firm over the past decade, products of the HYGIEIA collection are well known in Croatia, Slovenia and BiH. In the firm there is a sense that this new Mirisija Collection could gather equal or even greater success.
